About Ray Wiens
Ray Wiens Taxidermy is a full time studio located in Aldergrove, BC.  Together with my wife, Maureen, we have served customers from all over BC as well as all over the world.  We specialize in big game taxidermy and are familiar in mounting all local species as well as African and other exotic animals. Growing up in BC, I developed a love for the outdoors and hunting at a young age.  My favorite time of year was hunting season when my Dad would take me deer hunting. 
The excitement and anticipation of the hunt still hasn't left me.  It has given me an understanding as to what a mount means to the hunter, and why quality is so important.  The mounts are so much more than just a trophy of an animal.  They are a sign of reverence for the species taken and a means to display the beauty of the animals as well as show the importance of conserving and saving our wild places.  The mounts are also a way for the hunter to relive the memorable hunts and circumstances surrounding the taking of a certain species.  I strive to show respect for the animal in each mount by making it as realistic as possible.  In doing so my goal is to continually create mounts that the hunter can be proud to display in their homes.
